BTMA Announces Key Changes to the Board of Directors

The British Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (BTMA) is pleased to announce important updates to its Board, reflecting recent leadership changes within Pirelli UK and the appointment of a new board member.

Following the promotion of Livio Magni to CEO of Pirelli Europe and his role as Chairman of Pirelli UK, the BTMA Board welcomes Dimitrios Papadakos as the new CEO of Pirelli UK and the latest representative on the BTMA Board. Dimitrios brings over two decades of experience within Pirelli, having held various leadership positions across multiple global markets, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for Asia & Pacific. His extensive knowledge of the tyre industry and commitment to innovation and sustainability will undoubtedly strengthen the BTMA’s leadership team.

In addition to Dimitrios’ appointment, we are also delighted to announce the appointment of Marisa Hever-Smith to the BTMA Board. Representing Yokohama, Marisa becomes the first female board member in the BTMA’s history, a milestone we are proud to celebrate. Her expertise and vision will bring fresh perspectives as we continue to address the evolving needs of the tyre industry.

Dimitrios and Marisa will join us at the next Board meeting, scheduled for the 15th of October 2024 in Birmingham, where we look forward to their contributions to the BTMA’s future initiatives.
